These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CompassCare mobile application and the website at compasscareapp.com (together, the "Service"), provided by CompassCare. By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
CompassCare is a personal organization tool that helps families coordinate caregiving — tracking medications, appointments, care-team contacts, and reminders. It is designed to keep your information organized in one place.
CompassCare is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information you store or view in the app is for your own organizational reference only. Always rely on a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions, and never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something in the app. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using CompassCare you confirm that you meet this requirement.
CompassCare offers a 7-day free trial, after which a paid subscription is required to keep using premium features. Plans are:
Purchases and subscriptions are processed and managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly by CompassCare. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Prices may vary by region and are shown at checkout.
For Apple purchases, use is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
If you start a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, your selected paid plan begins automatically and the applicable charge applies. You can cancel during the trial at any time through your store account with no charge.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your device and store account secure. You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal caregiving and organizational purposes.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or disrupt it, using it to violate any law, or uploading content that infringes the rights of others.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how your information is handled.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompassCare is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information stored in the app. Because CompassCare does not provide medical advice, it is not responsible for health outcomes.
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
